The Heavy Light is the culmination of innovative manufacture, visual simplicity and the desire to challenge perception of materials. It encapsulates the material focused approach of Benjamin Hubert's studio and is designed not only to push the potential of an industrial material like concrete but also to challenge perceptions of value.
Benjamin Hubert designed the Heavy Light in 2008 for Decode London. In 2010 he won International Young Designer of the Year at the Elle Decoration Awards. The Heavy wall light comes in white, light grey or dark grey, hand-cast concrete in a natural finish.
